Okay if the control board says open, you need to uncrew the sensor for the lid. There are 2 Phillips head screws on each side of it. You can do this with the power on, it won't be an issue.
Unscrew the 2 Phillips heads and pull the whole sensor out, wires attached.
Take a pair of needle nose pliers and remove both of the leads on the BOTTOM of the senor by pulling on them with slight force. they look like metal tabs with rubber covers on them.
Once the two leads are off, push the protective sleeve down a bit, so you can further separate the 2 wires, and then turn the leads onto one another. Like a stack.
Once the 2 wires are connected, slip the rubber boot over. It'll complete the circuit and trick the control module into thinking your lid is closed.
I've had to do the same for the other 2 sensors on the fire box, on the top, and on the ash bin opening. Same method.
If you need, I can send you a photo of the connectors when they're bypassed.

Hi, I'm 17 and wanting to join the presale for Manchester. I am a member of the fan club but my parents want to buy the tickets. Does the fan club email me a link for the presale or does ticketmaster ask them for a code I need to give them or do I get link to buy straight from the website? I will be in college on Tuesday so obviously will not have much time to send and share stuff with my parents. Any replies appreciated
Top Comment: In the official ticket website, you or your parents will see a Fan PreSale Button and it will ask you for an unique code that IMFC website will provide to you 2 days before, just copy that code and send it to your parents, at least this was my experience but im from USA, it should be the same

Does the X870E Taichi Lite work with the Fan Control app?

I’ve read about some issues with Asus and MSI motherboards with X870 chipsets.
app FanControl is not detecting any of the chasis fans

Huge fan of Aphex twin here, what do you all think of His work?

I was wondering what you all think, I know the genre is very different, but the way he created these ambient and dark works by himself, whilst also creating some of the catchiest and iconic electronica never ceases to amaze me.
Some of the shit on “Selected Ambient Works 85-95” was composed by Aphex Twin when he was 14, at the very oldest. The noise he created, for being made by one person, sounds so human, it’s like a robot, that simultaneously is dying loudly and climaxing loudly. Weird analogy but you get it.
He made a melody for a Lemonheads, they commissioned him for a track. It didn’t work out, and when asked in an interview later on, he said something along the lines of “oh that, I sped it up 8000x and turned it into a snare sound”
Just funny little things that you wouldn’t really consider. Other bands, you know that’s being played, but with Aphex twin, any and all noise you here is fabricated from other things. It’s like musical Alchemy.
Anyway sorry for the meatriding, let me know what you all think.

Not a big fan of the way boost packs work in this game (so far)

I'll preface by saying I'm about 20 hours into the game now. Have done a lot of exploring on all the planets I've visited and completing side quests left and right. This game is amaze-balls.
I do have an issue with the way space travel works like everyone else, but I have more of an issue with boost packs so far, and how they work. I was led to believe for quite some time that we'd have jetpacks in this game, but the one I'm currently using feels more like a step-stool than anything else.
Why for the love of God do the boost packs operate in short bursts? Why can't I hold the button down and fly up like you can with power armor in Fallout 4? Why is the fuel so limited on them? It honestly feels super sluggish and bad, and I can barely make use out of it as is. It just isn't good enough.
Unless I'm missing something and you can upgrade it later on to be able to fly around with it? I don't know. The skill tree system is by far my favorite aspect of this game so far, and even the upgrades in the boost pack tree feel very linear. Am I just too early into the game to find a good jetpack, or is this really as good as it gets?
Disclaimer: I don't hate the game. I have criticism for it like everyone else, and I'm only noting one thing I haven't liked so far. Please go easy on me.

There is a skill near the bottom of the tech(?) tree that says it allows you to do more "shock and awe" moves with the boost packs. I assume that skill allows us to fly them more freely. At least I hope so..

It will, the sound it records must excees a certain trashold.
Note the pokemon go plus+ cant record sound.
